WAE is currently seeking a Software Engineer in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this role, candidates must have 5-10 years of direct management experience. The Software Engineer will be responsible for building software that supports a full-service staffing firm.
Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:
Guide features through the full development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, code review, test, and deploy.
Build microservices and APIs
Requirements of the Software Engineer:
Experience with backend JavaScript
Experience with Python scripting
Experience with web-based API integrations
Experience with large scale software engineering
BS/MS in Computer Science or closely related field
Must be passionate about writing high quality code
